This course is
designed as an introduction to computers, word processors and
presentation programs. Students will be able to identify basic
computer components, practice good file management and show
competency in the use of a computer’s operating system. Students
will show mastery in the use a word processor to create and format
documents. Additional topics covered in the word processor will
also include the use of graphic and photo editing tools. Students
will also address the process of creating graphic presentations and
display a competency in the use of appropriate programs.

Multimedia is one of
the most exciting and engaging forms of communication. With
continuing improvements in hardware and software it is now possible
to produce compelling multimedia productions with readily accessible
equipment. This course teaches students the skills and concepts they
need to be able to produce quality ‘rich media’ presentations.
Students work as teams and individually to fulfill given design
briefs and produce presentations that are used at Grace and beyond. |

an introduction to sketching, mechanical drafting, and computer
aided drafting. Students will learn three view, isometric and
