Elementary Science Fair Explodes

Onlookers gasped in awe as a variety of rockets soared many stories into the sky over the pool. Tech. Ed. instructor Paul Jarot also taught safety rules, as he and Facilities Assistant Bill Kane guided students launching missiles they had engineered.

“Students explored 15 physical science activities on how things work,” Elementary Principal Maxene Boland said. “Other departments caught the vision to celebrate ‘Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Day’ next year, during March reading month. We do it then, because reading is required for success in all areas.”

Student Council Secondary students provided extra hands to help the event. “I’m excited about next year,” Boland said.
