Facilities Builds Temporary Campus Needs

Grace moved 10 minutes south to rent unused classroom and office space on the two-year-old Satit Bilingual School (SBS) campus. However, since our student body is five-times larger than SBS, a few facilities improvements were needed.

Five projects include 1)  immediately resurfacing the existing play area; 2) moving and reconstructing our previous elementary playground; 3) leveling a field for soccer, encouraging grass, and raising tall side nets; 4) paving more parking areas and pouring cement walkways; 5) getting permits to build Art and Tech Ed. classrooms. (The great design about this building is it can be deconstructed and moved to our future new campus.) We praise God for a dedicated and skilled facilities team!

Our previous secondary campus is now totally used and maintained as a sports club by World Club Land offices. Residents use the outside courts and gym for no fee, bring guests for a fee, and reserve sports areas with the muubaan office.

“However, the pool remains closed during construction and remodeling GIS is required to complete by the lawsuit stipulations. We are unaware of when the pool will re-open and what fees will be set. Thankfully, we do continue to use the WCL sports fields, when Athletic Director Chris Cole indicates practices, games, or tournaments are scheduled there,” Facilities Director Chumley said.
