2022 ALUMNI GATHERING

Grace International School alumni gather for a photo

On December 14th, 2022, we were super excited to host an alumni gathering on campus! This was our first alumni event since 2019 and we had over twenty alumni attending from the Class of 2005 through the Class of 2022. Some even brought their spouses and children! We love seeing where the Lord leads our alumni after graduation. Alumni enjoyed lunch and dessert with opening remarks from our Superintendent Steve Anderson and Deputy Superintendent Joe Crain. It was awesome to see familiar faces on campus chatting about life and connecting with old teachers. We can’t wait to do this again!

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Christian Shepherd, a Grace alumni, visits Grace to tell students about a college they could consider attending when they graduate

Christian “Ben” Shepherd (Class of 2017) spent a year with Torchbearers International after graduating from GIS. After that he went on to major in history at Gordon College and is now working as Gordon College’s International Admissions Counselor. He loves his job, saying “I love working with international students because I know and understand them due to my background as a TCK. I also travel to recruit students too!” When asked about his time at Grace, Ben says, “To me, Grace is the whole package! They take faith seriously, the academics are strong, the community is fantastic and the teachers really cared about our lives. Whenever I visit a school, I always think about how they measure up to Grace.”
