As we foster balanced and healthy lifestyles, the Health Services Division provides medical care, wellness training and health education. The Health Services Division also assures that all students and staff have met the health requirements as stated in the GIS Handbook. The nurses’ office offers regular vaccination clinics with services provided by a local physician.

The Health Services Division also directs school policies to create a safe and healthy environment. The nurses provide training to all staff in universal precautions, CPR and First Aid. Additional health education programs for students are provided, as well as additional instruction to specific staff and students as requested. Moreover, the Health Services Division promotes healthy living on campus through wellness activities.
